WHO WE ARE
OCCCO's vision is to organize communities where families thrive and people are empowered by their faith and knowledge, dedicated to seeking justice, and actively engaged in the civic process.
Orange County Congregation Community Organization (OCCCO) is a faith-based community organization working to strengthen families and improve neighborhoods. We empower people to take responsibility for communities, to shape public policy, and to build a legacy of leadership throughout Orange County.
We are a federation of 20 congregations representing 45,000 families in Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, and San Juan Capistrano.
People from diverse economic, racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds commune with one another through OCCCO as we strive to create better communities and increase the quality of life for our families.
The 200 highly active community residents, which we identify as community leaders, light the way towards our vision.
OCCCO is an afiliate of the PICO National Network, a national coalition of faith-based community organizations and PICO California, a local coalition of California faith-based community organizations.
